Since 2014 Leica Camera AG’s corporate headquarters has been located in the Leitz-Park in Wetzlar. The Hessian city of optics is the birthplace of the Leica camera and the home of the Ernst Leitz Werke, the company that went on to become Leica Camera AG. The modern headquarters complex is home to the company’s production, administration, Customer Care department, Classic Store for rare, collectible, and enthusiast pieces, as well as a publicly accessible gallery.
